Nieguid duovdagat – Dreamscapes Online Music Video Premiere Concert and Q&A with the artists

Visual artist and filmmaker Marja Viitahuhta from the Nieguid duovdagat artist collective has created new music videos for the songs of the Nieguid duovdagat album. The album was released in February 2021. 

We are happy to invite you to the online premiere of the brand-new videos.  Release concert will be streamed in Ánnámáret’s YouTube channel on Wednesday 4.8.2021 at 18:00 (EET).

We are also happy to invite you to meet the artists in a Q&A discussion in Instagram live. Discussion will be led by journalist and writer Kukka Ranta. Both Ánnámáret – Anna Näkkäläjärvi-Länsman and Marja Viitahuhta will be chatting with Kukka Ranta. Audience can also send questions in the chat. You can find the discussion in Ánnámáret’s (@annamaret) or Marja Viitahuhtas (@viitahuhta) Instagram after the concert starting at 18:30 (EET).

Nieguid duovdagat music is created by Ánnámáret (yoik), Turkka Inkilä (electronics and shakuhatchi) and Ilkka Heinonen (Finnish bowed lyre jouhikko). 

Online concert will be available in YouTube for the evening. After that you can enjoy the videos as individual pieces of online video art.
